Morris County Youth Shelter

The Youth Shelter is an emergency crisis shelter for adolescents between the ages of 13 and 17. They operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and all of their counselors are required to possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. They run a highly structured daily program that allows residents time for meals, homework, recreation, chores, community service activities, etc. In addition to meals, shelter, supervision, basic medical care, and immediate crisis care, they provide a variety of other programs in the areas of prevention, art, recreation, life-skills, etc.
