NJACYF provides a strong, collective voice that informs and influences public policy. NJACYF educates elected officials to ensure they are well-informed and know the potential impact of their decisions on the constituents they serve. NJACYF ensures constituencies, who have a limited voice in the policy process, have a voice. Member organizations providing services frequently have the best, or only, information on the social needs they exist to address. In addition, NJACYF and its member organizations stay acutely aware of what is happening in each community that will affect the ability to carry out their mission.
