1. Program Manager
Bonnie Brae, a nationally recognized non-for profit specializing in services for at-risk youth is expanding its continuum of care to include Crisis Stabilization Services and we have a unique career opportunity for a Program Manager. This co-ed program will be located in Chester, New Jersey and will serve up to five youth, ages 13 to 18 years old, with behavioral/emotional challenges due to complex trauma who are in need of emergency short term out of home placement. The Program Manager will help launch this new initiative and oversee the day to day operations of the Crisis Stabilization home. The Program Manager will be responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of program staff as well as quality assurance and performance improvement oversight. In coordination with the Clinical Coordinator and Admissions Coordinator, the Program Manager will assist with facilitating admissions to the program.
Candidate will possess the following:
Education / License / Experience:
- Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field required.
- License preferred.
- Three years post Master’s experience with youth in an out of home setting, with one year being in a supervisory capacity.
- Valid Driver’s license – not currently suspended or suspended over the last three years due to accidents or moving violations.

2. Clinical Coordinator

The Clinical Coordinator will help launch this new initiative and serve as a key member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. This co-ed program will be located in Chester, New Jersey and will serve up to five youth, ages 13 to 18 years old, with behavioral/emotional challenges due to complex trauma who are in need of emergency short term out of home placement. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for preparing psychosocial assessments of individuals and families as well as serving as primary therapist in providing treatment including leading family and/or focused group therapy. This is a unique career opportunity to develop a new program model while working within an organization with over 100 years of experience serving youth in New Jersey. This is a 24/7 program, so there is flexibility in scheduling as evening and weekend hours will be required as dictated by program needs.
Candidate will possess the following:
Education/License Requirements:
• Masters in Social Work or Counseling required.
• LCSW, LPC or LMFT license required.
• Two years post Masters specialized institute training desirable.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:
• Valid Driver’s license – not currently suspended or suspended over the last three years due to accidents or moving violations.
• Two years post Masters specialized institute training desirable. Two years residential treatment experience desirable.
• Evening hours required as dictated by program needs.

3. Substance Abuse Counselor
Bonnie Brae, a Special Education School and Residential Treatment Facility for at risk youth, is currently seeking a full time Substance Abuse Counselor. The Substance Abuse Counselor will be responsible for the completion of assessments, evaluations and authorizations including biopsychosocial assessments, substance abuse evaluations, IMDS Strength and Needs Assessments, Joint Care Reviews, direct clinical service; individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy. Treatment planning including updating treatment plans monthly, attendance at treatment team meetings and running treatment teams as required, as well as discharge planning. The Substance Abuse Counselor will be a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team. Participation in performance improvement activities including program development and oversight. Interacting with youths and staff in the Milieu. Case management including documentation of all direct services , consultations, phone calls, arranging home passes, oversight of urine drug screens and attendance at meetings. Supervision of non-clinically licensed master’s level staff pending licensure. Preparation and facilitation of applicable licensing, contracting and accreditation surveys.
Education/License Requirements:
- New Jersey Licensed Therapist, dually licensed in Mental Health and Substance Abuse required.
- Masters in Social Work or Mental Health Field and LCADC license required.
- In addition to the LCADC license, a LCSW or LPC license required.
- Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) preferred.
